The First Presbyterian Church of Nappanee, Indiana was organized on September 28, 1899 with 9 people in attendance. The first baptisms occurred on April 8, 1900.

The first church building was located at the southwest corner of Clarke and Market. The first worship service was held there on November 19, 1905.

Ground was broken on June 9, 1963 at the present location at 1155 North Main Street on newly purchased 3 acres of land, and the first worship service was held on June 7, 1964.

The Presbyterian Nursery School was organized in October of 1962 and has now grown to an enrollment of 80 children.

The new Family Life Center was completed in May of 2002 after the purchase of two additional and adjacent acres in September of 1998. The Family Life Center added an additional 6,200 square feet to the existing 9,500 square feet. The Family Life Center includes a gymnasium; 4 new classrooms; a new kitchen; 2 handicapped accessible bathrooms; an office for the Presbyterian Nursery School; storage space; and a new lobby.
